20 Year Plan
I will break my 20 year plan into sections, to break down my plan concisely. Although this is my plan for the next 20 years, not all of the ideas are set in stone, this simply lays out my possibilities over the years.
5 years after high school, I hope to be going either to a 2 year college to transfer to a 4 year or if I'm lucky, already enrolled into a 4 year after high school. I hope to be studying sound engineering, business, or aviation. As I hope to pursue my passion to either work in music, start up a business, or to become a pilot and travel the world. Alongside going to college, I plan to continue to play in music groups and hope to have released an EP and an album or two by then.
10 years after high school, I plan to have already graduated from college or university and have successfully moved out of my parent’s home and be renting a place with my friends, possibly Oakland, if not then somewhere hopefully in the Bay Area, if I can find a place that is not extremely expensive. I plan to have been playing in music groups and have made some income from it. Alongside playing shows with my music groups, I would also plan to be an apprentice to a sound engineer to learn more. If I choose to take the aviation route instead, I plan to have graduated from aviation school and began flying smaller planes until I graduate to fly with a commercial airline.
20 years from high school, I plan for my passion to become a solid career, at this point, I plan to have moved out into a place of my own and supporting myself independently, earning enough income from my work to afford the lifestyle I want, I hope to have successfully become a touring musician and earning enough money from my job as a musician to support myself. Or I would have been a pilot for a commercial airline and have achieved some sort of seniority to plan out my own work schedule, therefore allowing myself free time to achieve other activities in life besides my career, traveling the world, settling down eventually, and start a family of my own.
